Osei Tutu SHS Secures 5th Place at Ashanti SHS Music Fiesta 2025

The event, which celebrates musical excellence among senior high schools, saw OTSHS’s Abrempong Live Band deliver a vibrant performance blending traditional rhythms with contemporary flair. Their setlist showcased the school’s cultural heritage and musical innovation, earning applause from judges and spectators.

• Venue: The iconic Baba Yara Sports Stadium provided a grand stage for the event, drawing thousands of attendees.

While the Abrempong Live Band narrowly missed the top spots, their 5th-place finish reflects months of dedication and rehearsals. The achievement adds to OTSHS’s growing reputation in extracurricular excellence, following recent successes like their strong showing at the NSMQ MegaTrial Championship

The band has already set its sights on next year’s competition, with plans to refine their act and incorporate feedback from this year’s judges. “This experience has motivated us to push harder. We’re coming back stronger in 2026,” said the band’s leader in a post-event interview.
